Winning Culture with O'Neil Arrington

O’Neil Arrington has been building leadership skills in teachers and students for 20 years. Beginning in 1993, he took over as director of youth programs at his local church, writing curriculum, building leadership teams, and traveling with teens to places like Kiev, Sevastopol, London, and Jamaica. O’Neil entered the classroom as a high school English teacher for Norfolk Public Schools, Virginia, and soon after his first year, was invited by his principal to attend a Capturing Kids’ Hearts® workshop. It changed his life. It helped him further develop sustainable and reproducible skills in the classroom and at home. O’Neil has taught and been a part of training teachers in questioning strategies and creating a positive classroom climate. In 2013, he came on board with Capturing Kids’ Hearts as a leadership development strategist and enjoys being able to serve teachers, principals, and superintendents so they can then affect their respective schools, school systems, and families. O’Neil lives in Virginia with his wife, Karen.
